Jaidah was bullied at school. She became aggressive and was expelled without being allowed to take any exams. Life * Legends of Clubland: Pikes Hotel
Pikes became the place to lose your head along with your inhibitions, with orgies a regular feature. Tony himself is rumoured to have slept with over 3000 women, married numerous times and had a highly publicised passionate affair with Grace Jones, going on to become her European Tour Manager. It doesn’t get any more rock n’ roll. If only those walls could talk…..
Life * Legends Of Clubland: Manumission
Manumission catapulted Ibiza’s party scene into a whole other worldly dimension with a £200k per night budget that created an intoxicating mix of slick theatre, technology and top DJs like Fat Boy Slim and Zane Lowe. Clubbers were immersed in lavish decoration and entertained by weirdly wonderful circus acts, burlesque, a dominatrix in the music box, naked dancers on stage, erotic dancers on podiums…
Life * Legends of Clubland: Ibiza Rocks
The concept of Ibiza Rocks was a simple one, to bring live music to Ibiza. Bored with the increasing commercialism surrounding the dance scene, Andy Mckay (of Manumission fame) believed a change was necessary to a waning dance scene and that contrast would only help rather than hurt it. Ibiza Rocks set out to try something new. But in 2005 getting licences for host venues was less simple and Ibiza Rocks for a while was a brand on the run, plus there was the question of how the highly established Ibiza dance culture would receive live rock bands?

Life * Drunk Elephant
I’ve always been lucky and had translucent skin (albeit it sensitive and pale!) that’s needed nothing more fancy than a basic moisturiser. Turn 40 and its all change. I’ve had a steady stream of dry patches, irritation and breakouts, making my skin more high maintenance than a teenagers.
Life * Playlist – Ocean Drive
A little playlist for long drives on summer days. “Summer breeze messin’ with my hair, favourite songs on salty air. Belting out tunes like I’m still there, only truly free when I’m drivin’ nowhere”
Life * Aurelia Botanical Deodorant
The majority of anti-perspirants are aluminium-based that work by using aluminium salts to block and alter sweat ducts. This interferes with our body’s natural response and it has been clinically proven that aluminium is absorbed through the skin. There has been a rumoured link to cancer for some time, but currently there is not sufficient evidence to establish a causal relationship between aluminium exposure and the augmented risk of developing breast cancer.
