I’m not a lover of predictability so it may surprise you that I’m sharing a list of ‘coffee table books’. But I love books and there is something super relaxing about flicking through one with beautiful photography and stylish places. So, forget the notion of having a stack to impress your guests and choose a few that make your soul sing. Here’s a few of my favourites…

Ah fringe – the marmite of interior design. Love it or hate it, everything comes back around so brace yourself, fringes are back with avengence, from cushions and lampshades to fringed sofa’s – yes, they’re back too.
One of the trends that has some staying power (other than pineapples, which I thought would last a season – who knew) is stars. Following on from white hearts, which ultimately became a bit too shabby chic for my taste; stars have an ethereal, magical quality that evokes joy.
